Old bridge and Turtle rock (Aame Kallu in kannada) are the landmarks of my home town called Bhadravathi. This small, dusty river town snuggling on the banks of river Bhadra holds nostalgic and fond memories.
this mosque is called "Quba Mosque". when prophet Muhammad had to migrate from his hometown Makkah to Madinah. when he reached outskirts of Madinah people urged him to stay with them. prophet replied ' I will stay where my camel stops and the camel stopped at a desciple's place and thats where Prophet built this mosque.
